Hybrid Vehicle Safety Procedure Guides. Dec. 11th, 2008 - 6pm - Hybrid Hazards Co.
has been invited to attend the South County Fire / Rescue / Police Association
Hybrid Vehicle Training Seminar being put on by Ford Motor Co. According to
Department Chief Richard Collinson there will be over 75 City Fire Department
Chiefs at this meeting all tuned in on learning more about Hybrid Vehicle Safety
Procedures. The invitation for Hybrid Hazards Co. came about after Department
Chief Richard Collinson viewed some guides recently purchased by Warwick Fire
Department, Warwick, Rhode Island. After reviewing the safety procedure guides
Chief Collinson called Hybrid Hazards Co. the same day, inviting us to promote
the newly released guides at their Hybrid Vehicle Safety Training Seminar. Chief
Collinson went on to say he thought the step by step high voltage shut down
procedures were excellent and therefore wanted us to display and promote our
guides to the entire South County City Fire Department Chiefs at their meeting
on Thursday night Dec 11th - 6pm.

Towing & Recovery Professionals of Connecticut Invites Hybrid Hazards Co. to
upcoming member meeting. Dec. 3rd, 2008 - Hybrid Hazards Co. will be
attending the TRPC meeting in Hartford, CT. We are looking forward to meeting
TRPC members to discuss any Hybrid Vehicle concerns they may have and introduce
our new guides. After just about being sold of every guide we had brought with
us to the RI Towing & Recovery Assoc Meeting recently we are planning to have
plenty on hand for those TRPC members interested in taking them home.

have just released a new Hybrid Vehicle High Voltage Quick Shut Down Field Guide
and a Hybrid Vehicle Jump Start and Towing Guide for the safety of First
Responders, Fire, Rescue, Police, Road Service and Towing Operators.
Their mission was to create a
quick reference field guide which enabled First Responders to safely shut down
Hybrid vehicle high voltage & SRS systems for extrication or for road service,
jump start and towing procedures.
The guides are neatly outlined
in a step by step, easy to read format of procedures all contained to one page
per/vehicle.

Hazards has released 911 Hybrid Vehicle Accident Awareness Q Cards
for use at all 9-1-1 dispatcher call stations. These Q Cards are designed to
help remind 9-1-1 telecommunicators to be aware of accidents involving
hybrid vehicles and obtain, then relay year, make, model of hybrid vehicle
information to first responders en route to an accident scene. Recognizing
the high-voltage electrical hazards to firefighters of hybrid vehicles
involved in accidents or fires, the new company has designed guides for
responders and for dispatchers to help identify hybrid vehicles involved in
these kinds of incidents; the Awareness Q Cards work in conjunction with
Hybrid Vehicle Quick Shut Down Field Guides which provide quick step by step
shut down procedures for all hybrid vehicles, making it very easy for first
responders to quickly shut down a hybrid prior to extrication procedures.
